Junior Andre recently shared that his childhood dream of becoming a footballer was shattered by his mother, Katie. He disclosed that despite being scouted and having a passion for the sport, his mother insisted he wasn’t talented enough to pursue a professional football career.
Now, at 20, Junior is focused on following in his father, Peter Andre’s footsteps as an actor and musician. Reflecting on his past aspirations, he humorously mentioned the significant impact of his mother’s discouraging words.
Recalling his football ambitions, Junior revealed that he had played in a Saturday league and had opportunities with Millwall, Brighton, and Chelsea. However, he acknowledged his limitations, describing himself as only “slightly above average” in skill.
Respecting his mother’s advice to explore entertainment, Junior recently made his acting debut in the film “Finding My Voice,” alongside his father and EastEnders’ Michelle Ryan. Additionally, he has been honing his musical talents, as showcased during a recording session on his sister’s reality TV program, “The Princess Diaries.”
In a candid moment, Junior shared his experience of balancing a full-time job at Transport For London while resolving issues with his record label to support his music career financially. His sister, Princess, commended his dedication and self-sufficiency during this period.
Amidst their family’s public life, Junior and Princess also expressed their love and support for their elder brother, Harvey Price, who faces online abuse due to his health conditions. They emphasized the importance of surrounding him with love and positivity.
Katie Price’s representatives were approached for comment on Junior’s statements.
