Former Apprentice contestant Luisa Zissman has released a statement regarding her decision to leave her pet dog, Crumble, in Dubai. Zissman, 38, expressed her desire to bring her toy poodle back to the UK after relocating to her rural estate amid tensions with Iran in the United Arab Emirates.
Despite her efforts to arrange for Crumble to be flown to her via a private jet, Zissman faced setbacks and shared with her followers that the plan fell through. She reassured them that Crumble is currently safe and well taken care of but emphasized her wish to have him by her side.
In January, Zissman introduced Crumble to her social media followers, showcasing him as “the cutest baby ever” and expressing her adoration for him. Her Instagram posts often feature the pup and videos of her preparing his meals, as she navigates his picky eating habits.
Known for her active presence on social media, Zissman has been vocal in her praise of Dubai, previously asserting it as the “safest country in the world,” despite recent security concerns. She defended her admiration for Dubai, stating that her sentiments are genuine and not influenced by any external incentives.
Returning to the UK, Zissman explained that her decision was primarily driven by work commitments and the school holidays for her children. In a video filmed in London’s Chinatown, she expressed concerns about potential theft and the colder climate, contrasting her experiences in Dubai with the current situation in the UK.
Luisa Zissman gained prominence as a runner-up on The Apprentice in 2013 and later appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. Describing herself as possessing boundless energy, allure, and intelligence, she co-hosts the podcast LuAnna: The Podcast with fellow celebrity Anna Williamson.
