An elderly man riding a mobility scooter tragically passed away after being struck by a car. The 85-year-old sustained severe injuries in the accident on North Bridge Road in Doncaster around 1.50pm last Friday. South Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and individuals with dashcam recordings to come forward.
According to the police, the collision involved a white Toyota Estima and the elderly man on the mobility scooter. The man was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but unfortunately succumbed to them. The police expressed condolences to his family and friends.
