Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been seen in public for the first time since his release from police custody over a month ago. The former Duke of York was spotted near his new residence, Marsh Farm on the King’s Sandringham estate, walking his dogs accompanied by security personnel.

After his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in a public office on his 66th birthday, Mountbatten-Windsor had been residing in Wood Farm on the King’s estate. Thames Valley Police confirmed the arrest, which was related to the release of documents concerning Jeffrey Epstein. Despite the allegations, Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

Recent activity at Marsh Farm indicates Mountbatten-Windsor’s intention to make it his permanent home. Removal vans, including those from Gander & White, an art logistics company with royal accreditation, were seen transporting artworks to the property earlier this week.

Following the loss of his royal titles and the lease on his previous residence, Andrew now lives with his dogs, including corgis Sandy and Muick, which belonged to the late Queen. Meanwhile, his former wife Sarah Ferguson is reportedly considering cloning the pets for a reality show, but a spokesperson for her clarified that no concrete plans were in motion.

The government is reportedly contemplating removing Andrew from the line of succession after ongoing police investigations into his behavior. Some Commonwealth realms, such as Australia and New Zealand, have already expressed support for such a move if proposed by the UK government.
