Singer Tulisa has openly shared a concerning update about her health. The 37-year-old former N-Dubz star revealed on Instagram that she experienced a Bell’s palsy attack and temporary paralysis, aiming to be more authentic with her followers.
The singer was first diagnosed with Bell’s palsy in 2020, which causes temporary facial weakness or paralysis. Tulisa mentioned that the attack occurred after learning about a friend’s cancer diagnosis, leading her to delay her egg retrieval due to the challenges she is facing in her life.
In an Instagram post where she shared a photo of herself with a swollen eye flashing a peace sign, Tulisa expressed her desire to provide inspiration and tools to others by sharing both her highs and lows. She talked about the difficulties she faced, such as nicotine withdrawals after quitting smoking for two months and the cancellation of her recent egg retrieval due to low count.
Additionally, Tulisa revealed that she had three cysts removed, believed to be the cause of her Bell’s palsy. She thanked her doctor for successfully removing the cysts and expressed gratitude for the support received during challenging times, including her friend’s cancer diagnosis.
Despite the health issues and emotional challenges, Tulisa remained positive in her post, emphasizing the importance of resilience and human experiences. She highlighted the strength of her friend battling cancer, her achievement of being cigarette-free, and the progress in her personal and professional life.
