Rylan Clark, known for his stint on The X Factor, recently shared insights on his ongoing involvement with the popular show This Morning. Clark first joined the program back in 2013 and has made numerous returns since then.
During the Easter break, the 37-year-old co-hosted alongside Emma Willis. When asked about his intermittent appearances on the show, Clark mentioned his recent visit following a break in the Maldives. Expressing his fondness for This Morning, he stated how he enjoyed being back after a period away.
In a podcast appearance, Rylan briefly touched on his co-host Ben Shephard, praising him as a “lovely boy” from Romford, Essex. The discussion around This Morning resurfaced following Rylan’s controversial remarks on immigration during a news segment about Nigel Farage’s deportation proposals.
Rylan emphasized the positive contributions of legal immigrants to the UK, citing the vital roles they play in society. His comments sparked over 700 Ofcom complaints but did not impact his role on the show, as he returned in February after a six-month hiatus alongside Emma.
Aside from his TV engagements, Rylan hosts a BBC Radio 2 show, presents Dating Naked UK, and co-hosts the travel series Rob and Rylan’s Passage to India with Robert Rinder. This Morning airs on ITV and ITVX weekdays at 10 am.
