A 24-year-old British tourist tragically passed away during his vacation in Tenerife, potentially undiscovered for several hours. The incident occurred when he fell down a stairwell at the Parque Santiago 2 apartment complex in Playa de las Americas. Despite the incident taking place early on a Saturday morning, details only emerged later.

The victim, accompanied by a Polish friend, was staying at the Parque Santiago 2 complex, which is known for its private apartments rented out to holidaymakers. The complex, located in a quieter area of Playa de Las Americas near the beach, boasts amenities like a pool and is surrounded by various shops and restaurants.

The man fell from the second floor of the building, landing face first, resulting in his unfortunate death. Spanish National Police confirmed the deceased’s nationality and stated that the incident is currently not considered a crime but appears to be a tragic accident pending a full autopsy report.

Emergency services were alerted around 6 am on Saturday, but the estimated time of death was believed to be around 2:30 am, suggesting the victim remained undiscovered for over three hours after the fall. The man had attended an electronic music festival the day before his passing with his companion, who was sleeping when the incident occurred.
