An unnamed female celebrity has been caught in a scandal involving a married sportsman, as intimate photos of the two have been leaked online. While their identities remain undisclosed, reports indicate that both individuals are married, with the woman being of British nationality.
Allegedly, the celebrity’s email and social media accounts were compromised by a cyberstalker. The perpetrator mistakenly uploaded the messages online, exposing evidence of the affair to the public.
Cybersecurity expert Jeremiah Fowler uncovered traces of the intimate encounters, which had already been circulating online for two weeks. The leaked information, including images and messages from platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok, also contained invoices and receipts, as reported by the Sun on Sunday.
Despite possessing this sensitive data, Jeremiah has refrained from revealing the identity of the female celebrity. In an interview with the Sun on Sunday, he disclosed, “They were both married. The content present could have caused significant harm. It was evident that a high-profile figure was engaged in an affair.”
Moreover, Jeremiah expressed concerns that since the files were exposed for an extended period, there is a risk that others may have accessed them or could potentially use them for extortion purposes in the future.
The expert notified the authorities about his discoveries, and the victim was informed by the cyberstalker about the data breach. However, it remains uncertain if she has also engaged with law enforcement regarding the matter.
It is suspected that the stalker utilized a tool named Cocospy to infiltrate the celebrity’s mobile device, enabling them to monitor the individual without detection. The spyware reportedly had a “stealth mode” capable of capturing screenshots from the device.
Wired magazine had previously stated that Cocospy was initially designed for parental control, tracking, and remote surveillance purposes. The app allegedly allowed users to operate it discreetly and remotely, emphasizing its use for legal purposes only. According to Mr. Fowler, the female celebrity might have been aware of the person who installed the spyware on her device and handled the situation within her inner circle.
Following his discovery, Jeremiah reached out to the celebrity directly via WhatsApp, informing her that she had been a victim of a crime and assuring her that he had no intentions of exposing her identity or that of the male sportsman.
