Turning five next month, the California-born four-year-old was named after her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and her father’s mother, who tragically passed away in 1997.

In a heartwarming gesture, Meghan Markle, Lilibet’s mother, purchased a Cartier Tank Francaise watch for her daughter years before her birth. This special timepiece, with a meaningful engraving ‘To M.M. From M.M’, holds a significant connection to Meghan’s personal accomplishments and serves as a precious gift for Lilibet in the future.

The watch, a symbol of Meghan’s success during her time on the TV show Suits, mirrors a similar piece worn by Princess Diana, who frequently adorned a Cartier Tank Française watch during the 1990s. Meghan has also been seen wearing other jewelry items that once belonged to Diana, including an emerald cut aquamarine ring and a Cartier tennis bracelet.

Princess Lilibet, born on June 4, 2021, at the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, was christened in March 2023 at her parents’ home by the Archbishop of Los Angeles. The intimate ceremony included Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, and Lilibet’s godfather, Tyler Perry, among others.
