A prominent British musician is set to embark on a remarkable journey, running from Berlin back to London following the conclusion of his European tour. Jack Cullen will undertake the challenge of running 22 ultra marathons in 22 consecutive days, covering a distance of over 700 miles from the German capital to London. Upon his arrival in London, he will perform at a venue in Hackney for his devoted fans and loved ones. The grueling fundraising run is scheduled to commence on Friday.

Speaking to the Mirror, Jack expressed his anticipation for the adventure, acknowledging the expected pain, chaos, laughter, and indulgence in bakery stops along the way. Despite facing a setback with an ankle ligament injury during preparation, Jack views the challenge as an exciting and unforeseen adventure. Accompanied by his best mate and sister as crew members, Jack aims to use this journey to disconnect from distractions, rediscover himself, and draw inspiration for his music, while also raising funds for Mind.

Aged 30 and hailing from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, Jack is a signed artist with the Sony RCA label, known for his sold-out performances. Each day, after completing the run, he will rest at campsites and small hotels to prepare for the next day’s endeavor. Transitioning from a professional rugby career to songwriting due to injury, Jack gained recognition through live shows and endurance-based projects.

Notably, in May 2024, Jack released his debut EP ’12’ while running 12 marathons in as many days to support cancer research, a feat that garnered widespread support and paved the way for his hit single ‘All I Need’. He further expanded his reach through a 650-mile cycling journey from Edinburgh to the Glastonbury Festival, captivating audiences in diverse settings along the route before making a striking festival debut.

Jack’s sporting background includes representing Ireland in rugby at various age levels, with a notable career path through local clubs, academies, and international engagements. His unique blend of athletics and music has solidified his presence in the entertainment industry, showcasing his resilience and passion for both disciplines.
