Coinciding with reports in The Sun, Ayoade was reportedly involved in a car accident on June 13th in southeast London, where a Renault vehicle collided with his Mercedes SUV following another incident.
The actor was observed holding his neck and communicating with authorities after the crash, as per eyewitnesses at the scene.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed that two women were treated at the scene and subsequently transported to a major trauma center for further care.
