Adele’s partner Rich Paul recently provided some rare insights into their relationship. The couple’s connection began after Adele’s successful release of her album “30” in 2021, leading to their engagement three years later.
While much of their romance has been kept private, Rich, age 45, disclosed that they didn’t actually meet at a basketball game as previously believed. Instead, they were introduced through a mutual friend, sparking a cordial relationship that eventually blossomed into something more romantic.
Recounting their journey on the Glass Half Full podcast with Craig Melvin, Rich emphasized the organic evolution of their bond, highlighting how their interactions in shared social circles gradually developed into a deeper connection.
Despite both having previous marriages and children, Adele and Rich are excited about blending their families and potentially expanding them. Moreover, Rich surprised listeners by admitting that he wasn’t a regular listener of Adele’s music before their relationship, although he couldn’t escape her major hits like “Hello” and “Chasing Pavements.”
Adele, originally from Tottenham, has been residing in the US for some time, where she, her son, and now Rich call home. During her final Las Vegas residency performance in November 2024, she expressed her love for her son and gratitude for being able to balance her career and family life.
