Amanda Holden recently shared an incident where she confronted disruptive fellow theatre-goers during a performance of Wicked due to their unacceptable behavior. The Britain’s Got Talent judge expressed her intolerance towards audience members who disturb live shows, recounting a specific encounter with a family seated behind her while watching the popular musical.

During celebrations commemorating the 80th anniversary of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in south London, Amanda emphasized her willingness to address individuals whose actions detract from the performance. She mentioned confronting people for creating noise and disrupting the show.

Recalling the incident at Wicked, Amanda described how a family sitting behind her had brought a packed lunch into the theatre, prompting her to remind them that they were not in their own living room. Despite the group’s initial confusion, Amanda urged them to put away their food and focus on the outstanding performance.

Additionally, Amanda encouraged audiences to fully engage in the theatre experience by dressing up, enjoying a drink, and refraining from distractions like rattling sweets or using phones. Her remarks followed a surprising revelation on her Heart Radio show about the frequency of kissing in her marriage to Chris Hughes.

During a discussion on successful marriage ingredients with co-host Jamie Theakston, Amanda humorously responded to research suggesting couples should kiss at least 10 times a week, implying that the figure seemed low based on her own experience. She playfully defended her claim of frequent kissing, stating that even a “Glaswegian one” was not uncommon in her marriage.

While the survey recommended expressing love nine times a week, having regular date nights, and engaging in meaningful conversations, Amanda admitted that due to work commitments and parenting responsibilities, some aspects were challenging for her and Chris. Private dinners were a rarity, and deep conversations were infrequent, with their interactions often revolving around daily routines and plans rather than profound discussions.
