Thames Valley Police faced a setback in the investigation involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as they tried to contact a woman connected to Jeffrey Epstein, who alleged she was brought to the UK to engage in sexual activities with the former prince. Despite the police’s interest in looking into potential misconduct by Andrew, the woman has adamantly refused to cooperate with law enforcement.

In a recent development, Thames Valley Police disclosed that they had reached out to the legal representatives of a woman who claimed she was taken to a location in Windsor in 2010 for Andrew. The police assured that if she decided to report the incident, her complaint would be treated seriously and handled sensitively. Andrew has consistently denied any accusations against him.

The woman’s US lawyer stated that she is reluctant to speak to the police as she fears compromising her privacy by formally lodging a complaint. The lawyer, Bradley Edwards, shared that the woman, who allegedly spent a night with Andrew in 2010 when she was in her twenties, had declined to come forward with her allegations.

Furthermore, Thames Valley Police made a public plea for individuals with information related to the Andrew investigation to come forward. Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright emphasized the thoroughness of the ongoing investigation and encouraged anyone with relevant details to contact the police through established channels.

Regarding the 2010 incident involving the woman, the police reiterated their commitment to handle any report made by her with care, sensitivity, and respect for her privacy and anonymity. They acknowledged the difficulty victims face in sharing such experiences and emphasized that any interaction with the police would be guided by the woman’s readiness and willingness to engage.
