The sibling of a beloved mother who tragically died, leading to a murder investigation, has expressed heartfelt sentiments, emphasizing her kindness and altruistic nature.

Karlie Sone, aged 28, was found unresponsive in Ipswich and pronounced deceased last Tuesday. Paul Stevenson, 39, has been arrested for her murder.

Kris Sone, Karlie’s older brother, fondly remembered her as a devoted mother, highlighting her caring demeanor and strong bond with her children. He described her as always cheerful, eager to help others, and never causing harm.

Karlie, a music enthusiast with aspirations of working as a nursery practitioner, was part of a family of five siblings. Kris, who served in the Army Cadet Force for nearly a decade, received the shocking news of his sister’s passing in the early hours of a Tuesday, leaving him with unanswered questions and deep sorrow.

Following Karlie’s tragic death, tributes including flowers and a memorial vigil at Landseer Park in Ipswich have been held. A fundraising initiative has been launched to cover funeral expenses and support her two children, garnering over £20,000 in donations.

Stevenson, awaiting trial, appeared in Ipswich Crown Court for a preliminary hearing, with a seven-day trial scheduled for September 24. Family members described Karlie as an irreplaceable presence and expressed their profound grief.
