Bodycare, a popular beauty retailer, is making a comeback to the UK high street by opening 17 new stores. The brand had faced administration and shut down all its 147 stores last September. However, in April this year, it was announced that Bodycare would return under new ownership by an investment group led by former Body Shop and Molton Brown CEO Charles Denton.

The company has now disclosed the locations of the upcoming 17 stores, with a plan to open 15 within a year. These stores will feature content creator studios, demonstration zones, and live broadcast studios to showcase new products.

The new store locations are primarily in the North and Midlands regions, including cities like Leicester, Northampton, Bradford, Leeds, and Wakefield. The first store set to reopen is in Sheffield at The Moor Shopping Centre, with a message on the storefront teasing the return.

The reopening dates for the stores are yet to be announced, but the anticipation is high among customers. Bodycare has indicated that more stores are in the pipeline, emphasizing that they are just getting started with this revival.

Founded in 1970 by Graham and Margaret Blackledge on a Lancashire market stall, Bodycare offers products from popular beauty brands such as L’Oreal, Nivea, and Elizabeth Arden. Stay tuned for further updates as the brand embarks on its reestablishment in the UK market.
