The prestigious Brit Awards has made its debut in Manchester, marking the first time the event has ventured up north in its history. The Co-op Live venue welcomed a host of renowned personalities as preparations for the annual ceremony unfolded.

The star-studded lineup for the event includes performers such as Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, EJAE, and Audrey Nuna. Notable figures like Alex Warren, Mark Ronson, Rosalia, Sombr, and Raye were also confirmed to grace the stage before the show commenced.

Prior to the ceremony, celebrities dazzled on the red carpet, showcasing their impeccable style in anticipation of the celebrated awards night. The late Ozzy Osbourne is set to be honored, with a special performance by a supergroup led by Robbie Williams featuring a rendition of ‘No More Tears,’ the iconic title track from Ozzy’s bestselling 1991 album.

In a heartfelt tribute, BRIT Awards organizers will also pay homage to Stone Roses bassist Mani, who tragically passed away at the age of 63 last November. Close friend Tim is scheduled to deliver a poignant speech in memory of Mani during the ceremony.

Leading the nominations were artists Olivia Dean and Lola Young, each receiving five nods, followed closely by Sam Fender with four nominations after his triumph at the Mercury Prize awards.
