“British Travel Influencer Found Safe in Morocco”

Published on

A British travel influencer, Rachel Kerr, who disappeared in Morocco after a night out, has been located safe after several days. Kerr, 31, went missing on April 25 after leaving the SMART Nightclub in Agadir at around 5am and checking out of her hotel. Concerned family members reported her disappearance, prompting a search effort by local authorities in Agadir.

Ayoub Zaroual, a member of the Caribbean Village Agador Hotel Facebook group, confirmed that Agadir police found Kerr in an apartment in the city. The authorities stated that Kerr voluntarily left her hotel and was not in any danger. She had entered Morocco on March 30 and was traced to the apartment following an investigation by security authorities.

Kerr’s cousin, Claire Hill, expressed concern for her welfare on social media and urged anyone with information to come forward. Scottish police were informed, and Kerr’s relatives were en route to Agadir to assist in the search. Friends revealed that Kerr had postponed her return to Scotland by two weeks.

Worries arose about the nightclub Kerr visited, with reports of drink spiking and safety concerns shared by other tourists. Before her disappearance, Kerr frequently shared travel videos and modeling work on social media. Her last Instagram post from Agadir reflected her passion for exploring new places and meeting people.

Kerr’s safe discovery brought relief to her loved ones and followers, ending a period of uncertainty surrounding her disappearance in Morocco.
