Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding took an unexpected turn when DJ Fat Tony revealed that Nicola Peltz, along with her family, left the event following an “inappropriate” dance between Victoria Beckham and her son.
Brooklyn expressed feeling that his mother had “hijacked” his first dance with his wife by dancing “very inappropriately” with him, leading the bride to leave in tears.
DJ Fat Tony disclosed that Nicola exited the room, followed by Brooklyn and her family. He emphasized the dance’s timing as being inappropriate, noting it was meant to be the couple’s first dance.
Addressing the incident, Fat Tony clarified that the dance involved slow dancing with Victoria holding onto Brooklyn’s neck, denying any intention to speak negatively about the Beckhams.
Brooklyn later criticized his parents in a social media post, claiming his mother’s actions made him feel uncomfortable and humiliated during the dance performance at the wedding.
While the DJ supported Brooklyn’s claims, reports from Vogue contradicted some details, stating that Brooklyn and Nicola shared their first dance to Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling In Love.
The online uproar over Victoria’s alleged inappropriate dance sparked memes and recreations, with some humorously suggesting she may have danced provocatively to Ginuwine’s Pony, a claim denied by Fat Tony on This Morning.
Fat Tony further explained that the awkward situation arose when Marc Anthony invited Victoria on stage during Brooklyn’s expected first dance with Nicola, causing distress and tears.
The Mirror has reached out to Nicola’s representative for comments on the matter.
