Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding planner expressed surprise at the model’s recent criticism of his parents. Preston Bailey, who organized the 2022 ceremony, praised Brooklyn, 26, as a kind and gentle individual and mentioned he did not observe any tension between Brooklyn and Lady Victoria and Sir David during the event. He also defended Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, stating that he never found the actress, aged 31, to be bossy despite recent allegations. However, it was disclosed that Nicola had difficulty addressing her husband’s parents by their names.
Preston recalled, “I don’t recall her being bossy. I witnessed a lot of affection between Nicola and Brooklyn. All design decisions were shared with Nicola, but it was crucial for her to have Brooklyn’s approval before proceeding. She wouldn’t make any decisions without his consent.”
In response to Brooklyn’s public statement about his strained relationship with his famous parents, Preston, who has collaborated with various celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Mariah Carey, shared his perspective. He stated, “I’m taken aback by his stance against his parents. This contradicts the Brooklyn I know, who is genuinely kind and approachable. He was just a down-to-earth person who would engage in casual conversations.”
Regarding the alleged inappropriate behavior of Lady Victoria Beckham at the wedding, Brooklyn accused her of dancing inappropriately, causing him embarrassment. Fans have urged him to release footage of the incident to support his claims. Brooklyn also criticized his mother for allegedly canceling plans for her fashion atelier to create Nicola’s wedding dress and claimed that his parents pressured him to relinquish rights to his name before the marriage.
Despite the controversies, Lady Victoria and Sir David have stood firm. Lady Victoria recently received a prestigious award in Paris and acknowledged all her children in her acceptance speech without naming them individually. She emphasized the collaborative effort behind her success and thanked her team, parents, and children for their support and belief in her vision.
