An airplane carrying more than a dozen individuals, including a Colombian lawmaker, has disappeared.
Concern is mounting as a plane operated by Satena airline lost contact while flying between the Cúcuta and Ocaña regions in Colombia. Authorities have established a crisis team to address the situation.
The aircraft was carrying a total of 13 passengers and two crew members.

Satena airline has released a statement stating that they have mobilized all possible resources and are collaborating with the Colombian Aerospace Force Command and Control Center, as well as the Civil Aeronautics Technical and Accident Investigation Directorate.
According to radar data, the aircraft’s last known location was between the municipalities of Hacarí and La Playa de Belén in the Catatumbo area.
There are unverified reports suggesting that Diógenes Quintero, a member of the Colombian house of representatives, was on the plane.
The flight was scheduled to arrive at its destination by noon local time.
