The initiative has gathered over £6,460 out of the £10,000 target goal, earmarked to cover expenses. The family has chosen not to disclose the circumstances that led to Danny’s hospitalization.
In a released statement, his family expressed, “Seeking assistance isn’t our usual approach. We have set aside our pride to accept the generosity extended by many of you. Each day brings a mix of hope, anxiety, and unpredictability. Though the future is uncertain, we cling to the hope that he will overcome this ordeal.”
While receiving exceptional care in Spain, the family acknowledges potential future medical expenses. Their primary aspiration is to bring him back to England when his condition stabilizes, allowing him to recuperate surrounded by loved ones.
Funds raised through the GoFundMe campaign will be allocated to provide Mr. Hayes with the best possible support in his battle. This includes covering medical requirements, treatments, rehabilitation, specialized care, and facilitating his safe return to England at an appropriate stage.
Simultaneously, the family is facing escalating expenses while staying in Spain. They emphasized, “We stand by Danny’s side and are determined not to let him face this alone. Your support will enable us to accompany him through every step of this fight, as advised by medical professionals.”
