Unyielding David Haye continues to fan the flames of his feud with Adam Thomas, crafting a scathing ‘diss track’ directed at his former I’m A Celebrity counterpart. The tension between the two escalated during their time in the camp, with David’s taunts towards Adam drawing criticism from viewers, especially for ridiculing Adam’s decision not to participate in a trial due to illness.
The conflict reached a boiling point during the live finale, triggering heated arguments between David, Adam, and Jimmy Bullard, who all contested the editing of their interactions. David remains relentless in his pursuit, composing a malicious song to further target Adam.
Titled ‘It’s banter – the remix,’ the track featured a voiceover, possibly David’s, accusing Adam of ‘moaning,’ ‘bitching,’ and ‘crying,’ while labeling him as ‘playing the victim’ and asserting that ‘schoolboy banter’ is integral to masculinity. The song also suggested that Adam thrives on being rewarded for weakness and speculated about him landing a solo show on ITV post-jungle ordeal, repeatedly referring to him as ‘Mr. Flaccid.’
Sharing the video on Instagram, David proudly showcased the creation, remarking on its potency and humor. While the track received mixed reviews, with Loose Women’s Denise Welch questioning David’s PR choices, Adam has chosen to move forward from the ordeal and is back on the set of Waterloo Road as his character Donte Charles, resuming his long-standing role in the BBC drama.
Reflecting on his I’m A Celebrity experience, Adam expressed feeling “tarnished” by the bullying row and vowed never to watch the show with his children again. Despite acknowledging the show’s role in his career’s success, Adam felt exploited during the live broadcast and criticized the lack of control over the editing and portrayal of his interactions with fellow campmates.
