A recent video released by the Department of Justice shows prison guards near Jeffrey Epstein’s cell on the night he was found dead. Epstein is believed to have taken his own life between 10.30pm on August 9 and 6.30am the next day. The guards neglected warnings to keep a close watch on Epstein, who had recently been taken off suicide watch.

According to DOJ documents, Epstein required constant monitoring and a cellmate at all times. Roberto Grijalva, an officer at the Metropolitan Correctional Centre, disclosed that he left clear instructions for the guards to follow, but they seemed to have disregarded them.

On the night of his death, Epstein was alone in his cell after his cellmate was transferred. Despite being advised that he would get a new cellmate, Epstein declined the offer. There have been concerns about the handling of Epstein’s case, with speculations ranging from negligence to conspiracy theories.

While officially ruled a suicide, doubts have been raised due to reported negligence by guards. Investigations are ongoing into possible human trafficking activities linked to Epstein. Multiple law enforcement agencies are reviewing evidence related to Epstein’s activities, including tracking flights connected to him.
