As she celebrates her 80th birthday today, she has released a new rendition of her 1977 track “Light of a Clear Blue Morning,” featuring Miley Cyrus, Lainey Wilson, Queen Latifah, and Reba McEntire.

To align with this significant occasion, proceeds from the song and its video will be contributed to pediatric cancer research at Vanderbilt’s children’s hospital.

Prior to her milestone birthday, Dolly raised concerns about her health by canceling several performances, although she is set to resume her shows in September.

The singer has not disclosed any plans for private celebrations on her birthday, but in a recent interview, she mentioned that staying occupied has been instrumental in dealing with her sorrow. Reflecting on the past 10 months without Carl, Dolly expressed her emotional state and the challenge of adapting to his absence.

Dolly and Carl tied the knot in 1966 after meeting two years earlier in Georgia when she was 18 and pursuing her music career in Nashville.
