The attacks on these data facilities coincide with escalating tensions in the Middle East, now entering their fourth day as the United States and Israel conducted joint strikes on several Iranian targets on February 28.

Urging customers in the Middle East to safeguard their data, AWS recommended migrating systems to their platforms in the US, Asia, Europe, or other regions due to the volatile situation in the Middle East.
