A drug dealer was seen smiling and joking on a night bus after admitting to fatally stabbing a university student. Dino Donaldson, 21, was caught on camera laughing and boasting about the stabbing of Anojan Gnaneswaran, 21, at Strawberry Hill train station in Twickenham, London. The incident occurred during a dispute over a drug deal, resulting in the victim being chased onto train tracks and stabbed multiple times by Donaldson. Anojan, a talented karate athlete and accounting student, tragically lost his life in the attack.
Following the murder, Donaldson was captured on CCTV on a night bus, displaying a carefree attitude. He was later apprehended at his residence, where police found a significant amount of drugs. At the court hearing, Judge Angela Rafferty KC remanded Donaldson into custody for sentencing at a later date.
British Transport Police Det Chief Insp Paul Attwell condemned the senseless violence, emphasizing the tragic loss of life due to a drug-related altercation. Anojan’s family mourned the loss of their beloved son and brother, describing him as a dedicated student and accomplished athlete. Despite the devastating outcome, they hope that justice being served will bring them some closure.
