Newcomer Stephen Aaron-Sipple, the latest addition to EastEnders, has shared his remarkable weight loss journey, shedding nearly seven stone following a health scare that prompted significant lifestyle changes.

Stephen is stepping into the role of Mark Fowler Jr in the popular soap opera, taking over from Emmerdale’s Joe Tate actor Ned Porteous. Fans are eager to see the storyline unfold for the son of Walford icons Grant Mitchell and Michelle Fowler in the upcoming episodes.

Prior to joining the BBC soap, Stephen opened up about his health struggles, recounting his transformation after being diagnosed with diabetes at 29. He emphasized the wake-up call he received, realizing the need to reclaim control over his well-being to avoid the threat of premature death.

Having been accustomed to unhealthy habits like excessive drinking and frequent takeout meals, Stephen decided to make a change. Through dedication to fitness and the guidance of an online coach, he successfully shed an impressive 93 pounds, marking a significant turning point in his life.
