Families gathered in Trafalgar Square in London to celebrate Eid in the bright sunshine, with attendees from various religious backgrounds. The event, overseen by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, featured musical acts such as Danish rapper Isam B, the London Arab orchestra, and British musician Khaled Sadiq.
In a message broadcast to the crowd at the 20th edition of the event marking the end of Ramadan, Mayor Khan emphasized inclusivity, stating, “All, regardless of faith, race, or background are welcome.” Attendees, dressed in vibrant attire, enjoyed the festivities in the iconic square near Nelson’s Column, which included food stalls, art displays, and a demonstration by a Muslim girls’ fencing team.

She highlighted that the Eid In The Square event aimed to bring people together to celebrate the Muslim communities in London.
The event provided a platform for live music performances, with acts like Khaled Siddiq, Isam B, and the London Arab Orchestra entertaining the audience. Mayor Khan’s message promoting unity echoed throughout the square, reinforcing the spirit of inclusivity at the celebration.
