Hampshire Constabulary reported that two men, aged 17 and 29, were arrested after their silver VW Polo collided with the white Yamaha YZF. They are being held on suspicion of causing death due to careless or inconsiderate driving.
Regrettably, the young motorcyclist from Fareham, Hampshire, succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital.
In a statement, Hampshire Constabulary expressed gratitude to drivers for their understanding during the closure of Northam Bridge, which was shut down for several hours following the accident.
