Former Love Island contestant Samie Eilishi revealed that she was asked to leave the set during the show’s finale, expressing her disappointment with the situation.
The 26-year-old reality star was in Majorca with her boyfriend and fellow Love Island alum Tyrique Hyde, who was set to appear on the spin-off show Aftersun.
After participating in two seasons of Love Island: All Stars, including a victory in her second stint, Samie returned to the villa following the crowning of Julia Majchrzak and Lorenzo Alessi as the series winners.
In a TikTok video, Samie shared her experience of preparing for the Love Island spin-off appearance alongside other program alumni, only to be unexpectedly turned away from the villa without explanation.
Despite the setback, Samie managed to watch the finale on her phone with the other Islanders after being escorted back to their accommodation. She recounted the unusual turn of events but remained positive about the experience.
Samie, who initially won the 2023 season of Love Island with Ciaran Davies, witnessed the 2026 finale where Julia and Lorenzo emerged victorious over other finalists Jasmine Muller and Kavan Murphy.
While the live audience and former contestants celebrated the winners, some online viewers expressed disappointment with the outcome, criticizing the season’s conclusion on social media platforms.
