A former Love Island participant, Camilla Thurlow, has shared distressing news about her daughter’s health. Nora, aged four, has been experiencing “seizure-type events,” as disclosed by Camilla.
Nora, diagnosed with autism last year and non-verbal, is being closely monitored by Camilla and her husband, Jamie Jewitt. Through regular updates on Instagram, Camilla has been keeping her followers informed about Nora’s condition and advocating for awareness.
In a recent update, Camilla expressed, “We felt it necessary to inform you about recent developments and our recent silence. Nora has been encountering seizure-type events and an increasing number of unexplained falls.”
Accompanied by a heartwarming video of Nora smiling, Camilla described her daughter’s exceptional ability to convey her true self without words, captivating everyone she meets with her infectious smile and gentle nature.
Acknowledging the outpouring of love and support from her followers and the swift response from an NHS pediatrician, Camilla reassured everyone that Nora will undergo an EEG soon to further investigate the situation.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Nora’s health, Camilla emphasized that Nora remains mostly cheerful, surrounded by love and care from her family, friends, and nursery. Camilla expressed her gratitude for the support and understanding provided during this challenging time.
Camilla shared that while Nora faces challenges, she continues to brighten their world and bring joy to those around her. Nora is one of three children Camilla and Jamie share, with the couple also welcoming Nell and Brodie. The couple exchanged vows in 2021.
