Merseyside Police spokesperson confirmed that armed officers responded to a call at Lime Grove, located off Lodge Lane in Toxteth, around 12:55 am on Thursday. The report indicated that a woman in her twenties had been shot in the legs. She has since been transported to a hospital for evaluation.
