Former This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby has reportedly decided to sell her car after a recent car accident. The incident involved Holly accidentally colliding with a scooter rider, causing the rider to sustain a fractured neck. To expedite the sale, the 44-year-old TV personality has enlisted the help of a car dealer to sell her Mini Cooper, which is valued at around £25,000.

Following the accident, Holly pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, and the matter is now in court. A source close to Holly mentioned that she is eager to part ways with the car promptly for a fresh start, feeling uneasy about driving it again post-accident. The expected selling price for her car is approximately £13,000.

The court heard that Holly, under her married name Holly Baldwin, admitted guilt for the driving offense involving the scooter collision near her residence. Despite not appearing in court, Holly acknowledged the charge through post submission. Her legal representative described the incident as a “momentary lapse of judgment,” emphasizing Holly’s remorsefulness and immediate assistance to the injured scooter rider.

Footage presented in court showed Holly turning right into a side street in her Mini Cooper without signaling, leading to the collision with the scooter. The rider suffered a fractured vertebra in the neck and a broken toe. As a result, Holly received a fine of £2,444, inclusive of costs, and received six penalty points on her driving license.

Earlier, Holly made the decision to step down from her role on This Morning due to a kidnap plot targeting her, orchestrated by an individual named Gavin Plumb. Plumb was convicted for planning to kidnap, rape, and murder Holly, receiving a life sentence with a minimum jail term of 16 years. Holly cited the desire to spend more time with her family as the reason for leaving the ITV daytime show.

In an Instagram post from two years ago, Holly expressed gratitude to her colleagues, viewers, and guests for their support throughout her 14-year tenure on the show.
