A horrific incident unfolded when a group of individuals posing as police officers entered a football field and carried out a murder. During a casual game, chaos erupted as five masked men, clad in police attire, abruptly invaded the artificial turf. The players reacted by dropping to the ground upon realizing that the unexpected visitors were not genuine law enforcement officers. Startling footage depicted the gunmen approaching their target in the field’s center and kicking the man while he lay on the ground.
In a gruesome public execution, one of the gunmen pressed his boot against the player’s head before fatally shooting him. The other players watched in terror as the events unfolded in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The impersonators moved among the remaining footballers, seemingly examining their faces.
Following the cold-blooded murder, the gunmen swiftly fled the scene, prompting the seven remaining players to hastily vacate the field, leaving behind their deceased comrade. The entire attack transpired within a brief five-minute timeframe, and authorities later discovered two additional bodies nearby during the investigation.
Reports indicated that the gunmen assaulted security guards, seized their weapons after restraining them, and then proceeded to the field to carry out the brutal attack. The victim was identified as Stalin Rolando Olivero Vargas, purportedly the leader of a local criminal syndicate.
The other deceased individuals were named as Jefferson Sanlon Olivero and Richard Josué Mina Vergara. Interior Minister Juan Reimburg disclosed that all three men had prior convictions for various crimes, including murder, drug offenses, and theft. Reimburg also mentioned that Vargas had allegedly contemplated defecting from the gang he led to join a rival criminal faction.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the murders, and authorities have not disclosed a confirmed motive for the heinous acts. Law enforcement officials revealed that they had been monitoring the gang leader before the fatal incident.
This incident follows the discovery of five human heads hanging above a popular tourist beach in Ecuador, a disturbing sight believed to be a warning signal amid escalating drug-related violence in the country.
