Kate Cassidy recently shared that she is in the process of removing her tattoos, including one dedicated to Liam Payne. The decision to erase these tattoos, made almost two years after Liam’s tragic passing, was explained by the late singer’s partner.

Having been in a relationship with Liam for two years, the 27-year-old influencer was present shortly before his fatal fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October 2024. Despite regularly expressing her love for the former boyband member on social media, Kate has now opted to undergo laser removal of the ‘444’ tattoo on her hand, which was a tribute to Liam.

The ‘444’ tattoo, along with ‘LP’ on her wrist, was initially inked in memory of Liam several months after his demise, with the number symbolizing their ‘angel number.’ However, in a recent Instagram post, Kate confirmed the ongoing removal process, sharing a mirror selfie donning safety goggles in preparation.

Although she chose to remove the tattoos due to their poor quality, Kate clarified that it was not a permanent erasure, as she intends to have them redone in the future. The number ‘444’ held significance in their relationship and was mentioned multiple times by Kate, who also disclosed that a letter from Liam contained the same digits.

In the letter, which Liam instructed her not to read immediately, he expressed a desire to become engaged and married within a year, signing off with “Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged and together forever 444.”

Addressing rumors about her pet dog, Nala, Kate affirmed that she had not given the rescue animal away. Despite being away on a trip to Mantauk, New York, for three weeks, she clarified that a family friend had stayed at her place to care for Nala, whom she acquired with Liam shortly before his passing.

Upon her return, Kate shared a photo of Nala on Instagram Stories, dispelling speculations and emphasizing the importance of having someone look after pets when away for an extended period to maintain their comfort and routine.
