Roxy Horner brought some humor to her post-wedding routine by parading in her bridal gown through a supermarket aisle following her recent nuptials with comedian Jack Whitell in the Cotswolds. The social media influencer was determined to maximize the use of her white dress as she made a trip to the store.
Strolling down the aisle with a shopping cart in tow, Roxy took to Instagram to share: “He asked me to walk down the aisle again… So I dressed appropriately! I refuse to wear this dress just once.”
The extravagant wedding ceremony of Jack and Roxy took place at Euridge Manor in Wiltshire, costing around £250,000. The stunning 17th-century venue boasts impressive features such as a boating lake, an orangery, a helicopter pad, a pergola covered in wisteria, and a grand ballroom.
Roxy opted for two different dresses for her special day, one for the wedding ceremony and another for the reception, after having her final fittings at Galia Lahav in Mayfair. Reflecting on her dress selection process, Roxy shared with Vogue: “I’ve done so many wedding shoots in my life, but I’ve never paid much attention to what I liked. When I went to try on dresses for my own wedding, I ended up choosing one of the first I tried on. Well, two…”
For her bridal footwear, Roxy chose Alaia’s La Coeur heels for the ceremony and later switched to a pair of Freya Rose shoes for the reception. Adding a personal touch, she wore her grandmother’s engagement ring as her “something borrowed,” a sentimental gesture she cherished deeply.
Jack, on the other hand, donned a classic black tie suit, a floral buttonhole, and Christian Louboutin shoes for the significant occasion. He was spotted arriving at the venue holding what appeared to be his groom’s speech, with friends revealing his nerves about delivering it.
Amid the festivities, Jack humorously shared an incident where he experienced a wardrobe malfunction, admitting: “I squatted down to pick up Elsie and my trousers split, my whole ass was hanging out.”
Preparing for her big day, Roxy underwent £6,000 worth of cosmetic procedures, sharing details of her treatments at Harley Street in London. These treatments included VBeam and Moxi laser sessions, Profhilo injections, and HSI signature Filter Facials to achieve flawless skin before the wedding.
