Influencer Nara Smith has shared heartbreaking news that her two-year-old daughter has been diagnosed with cancer. The 24-year-old content creator disclosed the diagnosis of her daughter, Whimsy Lou, in a video posted on Instagram.
Nara expressed her emotions, stating, “There is no easy way to say this or to talk about any of this. But, late last year our daughter Whimsy got diagnosed with cancer.” While not specifying the type of cancer, Nara mentioned they received the news towards the end of last year after noticing concerning signs on Whimsy.
Following examinations that included X-rays, ultrasounds, and a biopsy, the couple quickly received the distressing confirmation and were informed that their child needed immediate chemotherapy.
Acknowledging the challenges of managing the situation postpartum while caring for their other children, Nara shared her hope that speaking openly about Whimsy’s condition could provide support to others facing similar struggles.
With a total of four children, Nara and her husband, Lucky Blue, also have daughters Rumble Honey, aged five, Fawnie Golden, 10 months, and a four-year-old son named Slim Easy. The couple first connected on social media in 2019 when Lucky Blue reached out to Nara via direct messages. They eventually met in person at Milan Fashion Week after exchanging messages and phone calls.
