“Iran Issues Ultimatum to US Over Naval Blockade”

Published on

Iran has issued a stern warning to the United States, demanding the cessation of the US naval blockade or face significant risks and casualties. The ultimatum comes in response to President Donald Trump’s insistence that Iran has a final opportunity to end the conflict.

Senior Tehran military adviser Mohsen Rezaei issued the threat following reports indicating that US forces are running low on long-range weapons after targeting more than 13,000 sites in Iran over five months of combat. It is reported that the US has depleted its supplies of crucial weaponry and explosives due to the extensive attacks.

The reports suggest that the US military has used up its stock of surface-to-surface weapons, including Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM). These missiles are vital for stand-off attacks, allowing troops to engage from a safe distance to minimize the risk of retaliation. Additionally, there are claims that the US conducted a strike on a drone manufacturing facility in Shamsabad Industrial Town, located in southern Iran.

Further reports indicate that the US has resorted to repurposing weapons from various bases worldwide to compensate for the dwindling land-based weapons stocks, resulting in a reduction in US firepower globally. The depletion of costly missiles, such as ATACMS and PrSM, coupled with low supplies of defensive weapons like Patriot missiles in Gulf States, has raised concerns about the US’s ability to sustain a prolonged conflict.

Despite Trump’s rhetoric about potential military actions, recent observations show an increase of 80% in US military activity in the Middle East. Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has mentioned progress in resolving the US-Iran conflict, indicating that a draft agreement is in circulation. However, direct talks between Washington and Tehran have not yet taken place, contradicting Trump’s claims of ongoing negotiations. The White House has refuted claims of missile shortages, with Trump asserting that the US possesses an abundance of munitions and is ramping up production.
