Razgar Alani serves as the UK delegate for the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan. In an exclusive interview with Mirror, Alani emphasized the urgent need for a change in regime in Iran.

Alani stated, “The current regime in Iran is on the verge of collapse, not just a matter of when, but how. The regime’s failures are causing its downfall, and the people of Iran are actively fighting for freedom. It is crucial for the global community to show solidarity by supporting opposition movements, condemning human rights violations, and acknowledging Iran’s minority groups to pave the way for a new, democratic Iran.

The significance of Iran extends far beyond its borders. Despite being historically isolated due to the regime’s actions, Iran’s rich cultural heritage, vast energy resources, and strategic geographical location have the potential to positively impact many nations if freed from oppressive rule.

The once powerful but corrupt Islamic Republic of Iran is now crumbling under the weight of its own decline. The regime’s loss of credibility internally and externally is evident across various sectors, signaling its imminent demise.

Alani expressed optimism about the regime’s impending collapse and called for Western assistance to expedite its downfall. International support is crucial to ensure that the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom is successful.

Highlighting the discontent within Iran, a recent poll by the Gamaan Institute showed that over 80% of Iranians inside the country are dissatisfied with the current regime and demand change. This widespread dissatisfaction is a clear indication of the regime’s weakening hold on power.
