“January 2026 Premium Bond Results: Two Winners Score £1 Million Each”

Published on

In the latest update, the January 2026 Premium Bond results were unveiled, revealing two fortunate individuals who are now £1 million wealthier as they kick off the New Year.

One of the £1 million winners hails from Suffolk and holds the maximum £50,000 in Premium Bonds, with the winning bond number being 570QM451332, purchased back in February 2024. Meanwhile, the second £1 million winner resides in Berkshire, also possessing £50,000 in Premium Bonds, and their winning bond number is 377PG290829, acquired in December 2019.

Premium Bonds, a savings product offered by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), offer participants a chance to win in a monthly prize draw rather than a fixed interest rate on their savings.

The prizes awarded through Premium Bonds range from £25 to £1 million, with the odds of winning varying based on the bond amount held. While two lucky winners receive £1 million each month, the majority of prizes are smaller in value.

With thousands of £25 prizes distributed regularly and a limit of £50,000 in Premium Bonds per person, every £1 invested corresponds to a unique bond number with odds of winning set at 22,000 to 1 for each £1 bond.

Winners are notified of their success via email or text message from NS&I and can choose to have their prize money deposited directly into their bank account or reinvested into Premium Bonds. They can also utilize the NS&I online prize checker tool or the Premium Bonds prize checker app to verify if they have won.

The current prize fund rate for Premium Bonds stands at 3.60%, a figure that has remained constant since the August 2025 draw. Despite a slight decline in the prize fund rate in recent months, resulting in fewer large prizes being awarded, the number of smaller prizes has increased.

Notably, Premium Bonds continue to offer two £1 million prizes monthly, with over 24 million individuals currently holding Premium Bonds. Last month, data revealed Hampshire and the Isle of Wight as the luckiest regions for winning Premium Bond prizes in 2025, with Essex and Outer London also featuring prominently among the winners.

Participants are encouraged to engage with the Premium Bonds scheme for a chance to secure substantial prizes and potentially change their financial fortunes.
