Aston Merrygold, a member of JLS and aged 37, shared updates on his health from his hospital bed after undergoing surgery for a serious injury sustained in an accident. The singer posted a photo giving a thumbs-up gesture while wearing a hospital gown.

Accompanied by his wife Sarah and their children Grayson, Macauley, and Riley, Aston expressed gratitude for the successful surgery and the care received from the hospital staff. Fans flooded him with well-wishes, and his bandmate Marvin Humes expressed joy over the positive outcome.

Prior to the operation, Aston had shared a photo on Instagram showing his enthusiasm despite the upcoming procedure. He had injured his ankle, necessitating surgery, and showcased his injury on social media.

Despite the setback, Aston continued to perform with JLS using crutches, joking about his temporary inability to do backflips. The band, composed of Oritsé Williams, JB Gill, Aston, and Marvin Humes, reunited this year for limited performances after disbanding in 2013.

JLS, formed in 2007 and gaining fame after appearing on The X Factor in 2008, captured the audience’s hearts and secured a record deal in 2009. Despite their split, they delighted fans with their comeback performances this year.
