The 34-year-old YouTuber and Strictly Come Dancing personality, Dianne Buswell, disclosed the birth of their newborn baby boy, showcasing endearing images of the infant in the hospital. Alongside the photos, Joe and Dianne unveiled the name they selected for their baby boy in an Instagram post.
Accompanying the images of their cherished newborn, Joe expressed in the caption: “Never felt a love like it,” along with a blue heart emoji, followed by the announcement of the baby’s name as “Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg 16/03/26.”
After receiving numerous congratulations from celebrity pals and fans, Joe later took to his Instagram story to clarify the pronunciation of his son’s name. Alongside another photo of the newborn, with the new parents holding his tiny hand, Joe specified: “Bowden Sugg,” indicating it should be pronounced “Bow like How not Bow like Row,” followed by a light-hearted emoji.
According to baby name source, The Bump, Bowden signifies “shelter” and represents “the one who brings.” It is associated with security, new beginnings, and ambition.
The chosen middle names hold sentimental value on both Joe and Dianne’s family sides. Mark is Dianne’s father’s name, while Richard pays tribute to Joe’s grandfather, who passed away in 2021. The couple’s relationship blossomed during their partnership on the 2018 season of Strictly.
