Kanye West has announced his upcoming performance in India, following the cancellation of his Wireless shows where he was supposed to headline. The musician, legally known as Ye, will be gracing the stage in Delhi on May 23, 2026, at 8 pm, at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for his exclusive show in India.
The decision to have West headline all three nights of the festival in Finsbury Park, North London, faced backlash in the UK. This led to criticism from Keir Starmer, who called the move “deeply concerning” due to concerns of anti-Semitism. Consequently, West was denied entry to the UK by the Home Office, resulting in the cancellation of his scheduled performances not only in the UK but also in Switzerland and Poland.
In response to the cancellation of his performance at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, Poland, the venue director cited “formal and legal reasons” for the event not taking place on June 19, 2026. Additionally, Poland’s culture ministry expressed intentions to ban West from performing in the country, citing his alleged promotion of Nazi ideology, which they deemed contradictory to Poland’s values.
Despite facing resistance, West decided to postpone his show in France after opposition from French authorities and local officials in Marseille. The French Interior Minister and Marseille Mayor expressed concerns over West’s performance in the culturally diverse city with a rich history of immigration.
