Kate Ferdinand was seen in high spirits as she took her children to Disneyland Paris to celebrate her daughter’s third birthday. The 35-year-old former TOWIE star, who has two kids with ex-premier league player Rio Ferdinand, posted several photos on social media while on a solo trip as Rio is away in the US for the World Cup.
Rio, who tied the knot with Kate in 2019, is currently in America for the football event, leaving Kate in charge of their family in Dubai. Kate, who is a stepmother to Lorenz, 20, Tate, 19, and Tia, 15, shared glimpses of her day out with her youngest daughter on Instagram.
One of the pictures shows Kate flaunting her toned stomach in a polka dot top next to Mickey Mouse. Another snap captures her children enjoying a performance by the Genie from Aladdin and Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.
In her post, Kate expressed her joy, saying, “My baby girl Shae Shae turned 3 today, and we spent the day at @Disneylandparis celebrating.” She added, “The most magical day ever! I have some very, very tired but happy children going to bed tonight.”
Reflecting on her daughter’s journey, Kate mentioned the challenging period when their daughter was in specialized care shortly after birth in 2021 due to congenital pneumonia. Kate recalled feeling guilty for not being with her newborn while watching Love Island as she was in the NICU.
After five days, Kate and Shae were finally able to return home. Kate shared her emotions, expressing relief and gratitude for her daughter’s recovery.
