One of Katie Price’s well-known bridesmaids has disclosed a hidden agreement she made with the star who recently wed for the fourth time following a rapid courtship.
The former glamour model surprised the entertainment industry when it was announced that she had exchanged vows with businessman Lee Andrews shortly after their initial meeting.
The couple’s intimate wedding in Dubai was witnessed solely by an officiant. Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton, who has stood by Katie’s side at previous weddings, shared the secret behind their enduring friendship.
In an interview with Woman’s Own, Heaton revealed, “We promised never to discuss each other in interviews. Perhaps that’s why our friendship has endured.”
Lee marks Katie’s fourth spouse. Her first marriage was to singer Peter Andre from 2005 to 2009, followed by actor/MMA fighter Alex Reid a year after her divorce.
While Katie’s union with Alex lasted only a year, her longest marriage was with Kieran Hayler, whom she wed in 2013 and initiated divorce proceedings with in 2018. Katie has four children from her marriages to Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler, and one child from her previous relationship with former footballer Dwight Yorke.
The latest nuptials come shortly after Katie’s separation from boyfriend JJ Slater, her partner of two years.
Katie mentioned that she and Lee got matching tattoos and bought wedding rings before even meeting each other.
Recounting their unique connection to the Sun, Katie said, “The way I met Lee was unconventional, we connected by both viewing each other’s social media profiles and quickly realized ‘this is meant to be’… in a traditional manner, through words that captivated us both.”
“All of this unfolded as we delved deeper into our connection within days, getting matching tattoos, and both deciding to purchase rings for one another.”
“We allowed fate, or you could say destiny, to take its course without even meeting. I am overjoyed to have found someone as content as I am. Our relationship transcends words.”
Katie has returned to the UK, expressing her unwavering love for Lee, who remains in Dubai, where he has resided for two decades.
Shortly after the wedding, images surfaced suggesting that Lee had proposed to another woman in the same manner he proposed to Katie just four months prior. According to reports from The Sun, he proposed to his now ex-girlfriend Alana Percival with rose petals at the Burj Al Arab hotel in September.
Only a few weeks have passed since Katie confirmed her split from former boyfriend JJ Slater. Speaking on her podcast, she stated, “I don’t want to waste time. If I’m not in a loving relationship that’s progressing, I don’t want to stick around and let things turn sour. I’d rather end it sooner rather than later. It was over long ago, even though I was present at Christmas due to prior arrangements.”
