Starmer also visited the site of a Russian attack on residential buildings in Kyiv and announced a €300 million aid package to enhance Ukraine’s air defense capabilities with advanced fighter jets.
This substantial investment will enable Ukraine to deploy a squadron of 16 Gripen E fighter jets by 2029, equipped for air combat, ground strikes, and reconnaissance missions.
