Kerry Katona has provided an update on her family life as her youngest daughter, DJ, starts her summer break following a switch to a new school. DJ transitioned from a private school to a state school due to the closure of her previous educational institution, leading to a surprising realization of a shorter summer vacation period.
Discussing her daughter’s situation, Kerry mentioned, “DJ is off school for the summer. She’s quite disappointed as her private school closed, so I enrolled her in a state school. Previously, she used to enjoy about 12 weeks off, so now she’s a bit stunned to have only half of that.” Kerry also expressed her anticipation of spending time with her children during the summer break while expressing disapproval of the amount of homework schools assign.
The mother of five shares children with Brian McFadden and Mark Croft, including Molly, Lilly-Sue, Heidi, Max, and Dylan-Jorge. Additionally, Kerry, aged 45, reflected on being recognized as a “gay icon” after performing at Bournemouth Pride, acknowledging the challenges of the high temperatures during her show.
In her recent New! column, Kerry shared her experience at the Pride event, stating, “I had the opportunity to perform at Bournemouth Pride recently, and it was scorching! I wasn’t sure if I could make it through the setlist. Nonetheless, the audience was fantastic! Being on stage and witnessing everyone was truly amazing.” She emphasized the significance of Pride events to her, emphasizing inclusivity and acceptance of all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation.
