Three individuals were assaulted by a knife-wielding assailant at a Jehovah’s Witnesses booth located within a railway station. The incident took place at Würzburg Main Station in Bavaria, Germany, where a 35-year-old man reportedly launched an attack on several people using a knife. The Bavarian Police confirmed that three individuals suffered minor injuries but were not stabbed or cut during the altercation.
The suspect approached the booth within the station’s entrance hall around 7:50 am CET and allegedly made stabbing motions towards a 68-year-old person before targeting a 55-year-old and a 51-year-old individual. Prompt intervention by bystanders, including an undercover police officer, led to the apprehension of the suspect.
Authorities have established a cordon at the scene as the Würzburg criminal police conduct investigations, which involve forensic examinations and the retrieval of CCTV footage from the station. Additionally, the suspect’s residence is undergoing a search operation.
