Lady Marina Windsor has recently exchanged vows with account executive Nico Macauley in a picturesque church ceremony, marking the second royal wedding of the year. Lady Marina, a descendant of the 90-year-old Duke of Kent and a second cousin once removed to King Charles, donned a custom wedding dress designed by Larissa Von Planta, along with a historic tiara that belonged to her great-grandmother, Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark.

The private ceremony and reception, attended by family and friends of the couple, took place in North Yorkshire at the residence of Lady Marina’s late grandmother, the Duchess of Kent. Notable guests included Princess Alexandra’s granddaughter, Flora Vesterberg, and her husband, Timothy, as well as Lady Gabriella Windsor. Lady Marina’s parents, George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews, and Canadian academic Sylvana Tomaselli, were emotionally present at the event.

The wedding ceremony was held at All Saints Church in Hovingham, with the reception hosted at the family estate of Lady Marina’s late grandmother in North Yorkshire. Lady Marina had announced her engagement a year prior, showcasing her engagement ring in photos posted on social media. She and Macauley had been in a relationship for two years before getting engaged.

Born in Cambridge in 1992, Lady Marina was formerly 25th in line to the throne until she renounced her position in 2008 upon converting to the Roman Catholic Church. Her wedding follows another royal union, as Princess Anne’s son Peter Phillips recently married NHS nurse Harriet Sperling in Cirencester.
